Pet Services

Animals are wonderfully agreeable friends. They ask so little of us, and give so much love in return. When it comes time for you to let go of your animal companion, making the decisions on how to care for their physical remains can be heart-wrenching.  Our staff can help you with the loss of your pet as we would any other member of your family.  We have helped local families and Veterinarians through the loss of the four footed members of a family. You are welcome to call us at (517) 543-2950 or email us with any questions.  We will be happy to answer you questions.

A Tribute To MAGGIE, a sPECIAL seRVICE dOG

To My Hospital Family, Friends, Guests and Special Visitors,

I am writing today to let you know that I have embarked on a journey to my forever home. The time came a little sooner than my mom and I expected, and parting was not easy, but my body was tired and not working as well as it should. I just needed rest.

Private Cremation

Private Cremation

A private cremation means your pet is placed in the cremation chamber alone. Upon completion of the cremation, your pet's cremated remains are removed from the chamber, and returned to you, in an urn of your choice.

Individual Cremation

Individual Cremation

Here, your pet shares space in the cremation chamber with other pets, but as each pet carries a unique identification tag into the chamber, you’re ensured of receiving only your pet’s cremated remains, in the urn of your choice.

Communal Cremation

Communal Cremation

In a communal cremation, your pet is cremated along with a number of other pets, and the cremated remains are not separated. No cremated remains are returned to you. It is common practice for these cremated remains to be scattered on private land by one of our staff members.
